Beating Berlusconi returns to the Isle of Man

A magnificent piece of theatre. One man forty characters.
Paul Duckworth is Kenny Noonan. A Liverpool fan, he travels to Istanbul, despite threats from his Bank Manager and his wife, to watch his beloved Liverpool play AC Milan in the 2005 Champions League Final. Kenny carries the scars of 30 years of living in a city that has been demonised. What happened to Liverpool FC in the 2nd half is legend, what happened to Kenny in the AC Milan Directors box is stranger than fiction.
Based upon a true story this play must not be missed upon its return to the Island after the success of its appearance in 2011. You dont have to be a Liverpool fan to be touched by the passion of this play, laughter and tears in equal measure.

Hope for John
Book sales have raised money for the Jersey based charity Hope for John. Hope for John was set up to provide funds for research into Lafores disease, a terrible terminal disease that strikes down teenagers in their prime with no warning. John Sharp was struck down at the age of 15 as a normal healthy teenager To date book sales have raised over £1200 for the charity.
It is with great sadness that I have to say the donations for research did not come soon enough to hellp young John who recently passed away at the devastatingly young age of 21 years of age. He fought bravely to the end but numerous stays in Intensive meant he could finally fight no more.
Take time out to research this disease and support teh charity which continues to run in memory of John.
All my love goes out to his Mum Alice, a braver woman you will never meet, she will Never Walk Alone.

What next for the book?
We speak a different language but about the same thing
The book is currently being translated into the Georgian Langauage, that is Georgia as in Dynamo Tblisi Georgia not Georgia USA. English is not widely spoken in Georgia so book sales are somewhat difficult but there is a chance of the growing number of Liverpool fans in the currently understanding my story and living their dream of following the Reds via my experiences. Thanks to a wonderful man called Irakli Guliashvili who is enlisting help to translate the story into the local langauge, he hopes to visit Anfield this season.
გმადლობთ (thats Thank You in Georgian) Irakli
Chapters from the book have also been translated into Czech for Czech and Slovak fans. Once gain a local Red was instrumental in helping me get my message to other Lubos Nehyba I am forever grateful.
